Weekending

It's the day after a long weekend, so this is appropriate!
I hope everyone had a wonderful memorial day weekend. I enjoyed my time spent with friends and family. Here is a little recap

Friday
After work I went to my mom's house for a cook out. Ryleigh had her first sleep over at our house, her cousin Emily. Those girls were in hog heaven, and said they were "staying up all night." Which turned into them being asleep by 11:00 in my bed lol.
Saturday
Ryleigh and I packed up and went to the creek for the day. BK was asleep when we left and it had started raining a little so I thought it would be best if she stayed with my mom for the day.






Sunday
Yet again the girls and I packed up and went back to the creek to spend a beautiful day on the water. BK got to go on Sunday and she had sooo much fun.


Monday
We were a little lazy on Monday. The girls rode around on their four wheeler for a little while then we rode over to my aunt's house and went swimming.
I hope everyone has a great week. I'm for one happy that it is a short week :)

I'm not going to lie I don't shop at Nordstorm as much as I should or could ha! I did get a Nordstrom card last year so I could shop the early access sale, and I shopped again this year. Here are a few of my picks. First up.. Zella leggings I love my zella leggings and I wanted a maternity pair to wear during my pregnancy, so I was able to catch this pair on sale!   sweater I don't wear a lot of turtle necks, because I'm funny about things around my neck. However, I've seen several bloggers talking about this sweater and how soft and light it is. We will see how I like it when it arrives.   sneakers I need a new pair of tennis shoes and I thought these were cute. I hope they fit!   ruffle dress I found this cute dress for Brynlee for fall. Girl Chat: Guilty Pleasures

I used to only shop in stores so I could try the clothes on before I bought them. I just recently decided to start ordering online, and I feel like I've been missing out on life ha! I ordered this "express yourself" dress from The Mint Julep boutique for my upcoming beach trip, and I received $10 off my order just for signing up for e-mails :) I've been eyeing these wedges on varies boutique pages and I lucked up and found this pair at Target. I was able to get these and a pair of sandals for BK(below) and a free $10 gift card!   2. Sweets Let's face it, I am a sucker for anything sweet! Weekending

I enjoyed a really low key weekend with my girls, which is just what I need before they go to their dad's for two weeks :( Friday night we enjoyed chips, cheese dip, and pizza at my mom's house. Bk wanted to spend the night with her, so it was just Ryleigh and me. Ryleigh painted my nails, then we played a few games, and called it an early night. Saturday morning I went grocery shopping. That afternoon we went to Ryleigh's rodeo. my girl with her winnings from the day!   Sunday we went to church, then ate lunch at my mom's.  quick church picture! Sunday afternoon I took the girls to the creek since they will miss Memorial day at the creek, which is a big weekend! We managed to get to the creek and swim for a few minutes before a ton of bad weather blew through! Talk about a cold and wet ride home.   I am hoping for a good week and I hope everyone else has one too! linking up with Biana
