Southern Mama of Two

Friday night Walt and I took the girls to eat pizza, then we carved pumpkins.   Saturday my mom and I took the girls plus their cousin Emily to eat and to the pumpkin patch. We went to a different one this year because it was closer, and super cold that day. I was a little disappointed in it, but the girls had fun which is all that matters. They enjoyed zip lining, going through the corn maze, and feeding the catfish.   Sunday the girls and I went to church. After church we went to eat lunch at Mexican. Sunday afternoon we went to my grandmother's church for trunk or treat, then to our church for trunk or treat. The girls managed to score 4 buckets of candy. ole gampaw and ole gamaw :) linking up with Biana  

Sharing my weekend with Biana! Friday I took off early to go watch Ryleigh cheer at the pep rally. After the pep rally Ryleigh's friend came over for the girls to play. Ryleigh went to the game while Brynlee and I had a date night at the Mexican with Walt. I didn't get a picture of Ryleigh cheering but I did snap one of this cutie headed to the pep rally!   Saturday started off terrible! Ryleigh was entered in a rodeo Saturday morning, but woke up not feeling good so we had to cancel. She started feeling better and spent the day with my aunt. Brynlee and I hung around my mom's house with my brother. We watched most of the sec games, including Ole Miss who finally won!!! My brother grilled out that afternoon and we ate and enjoyed more football! Sutton Reece and I excited because our Rebels got a win! (her mom is a bama fan lol)   Sunday morning we left bright and early headed to Ryleigh's rodeo. Ryleigh had a better run at this rodeo than last month. A

The girls and I had the opportunity to take cotton photos last week and ya'll they turned out amazing! I am a little bias because 1. I think my children are beautiful and 2. I happen to be dating the guy that owns this beautiful cotton field! I can't say enough how much I love and cherish these photos.   I am so happy that it is finally October, even though we all woke up to heartbreaking news. The horrible events that took place in Las Vegas have literally broken my heart and cast a dark cloud on my Monday. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the shooting❤   1. Favorite Fall Sweet Treat? caramel apples 2. Red, Yellow, or Green Apples? red apples for sure 3. Favorite Fall Sport to Play? I don't play sports but I watch college football during the fall 4. Best Drink for Fall? non-alcohol would be hot chocolate, alcoholic drink would be fireball and dr pepper 5. Favorite Fall Activity? watching college football and going to the pumpkin patch 6. Must have Fall Purchase? new pair of fall booties 7. Pumpkins: Pick your own or store bought? I love going to the pumpkin patch and letting the girls pick their own pumpkins. 8. Real or Fake Pumpkin? real for sure! 9. Favorite Halloween Costume? My favorite past halloween costume is Kim Kardas
