Weekending [No.3]

Image
Happy Tuesday! I am sharing my weekending on the wrong day I know! I had a three day weekend, so I took full advantage of it, and I'm just now getting around to sharing.   This song came on Pandora while I was headed to the dentist and I fell in love with it. Go listen to it if you haven't already!     After my appointment I went by my favorite coffee shop and grabbed a white chocolate latte for the ride home. I wish there was a coffee shop closer to where I live, but I'm sure my check book is happy!     We had a "kid free" weekend since the girls were gone to their dad's. I warmed up left overs then we made a loop. We called it an early night, because we are that old married couple haha.   Saturday morning we were woken up early to severe storms and no lights ugh. We checked cows, got dressed, and headed to town for breakfast. After we ate we went grocery shopping. By that time the weather had cleared up and was starting to cool

Disney {Day 5}

Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing all about our day at Epcot. This was the only day that the weather was kind of gloomy and dark, but we didn't let that stop us. Walt's mama bought the girls princess dresses for our trip, so they decided to wear them that day.   The first thing we did when we arrived at Epcot was hop on Spaceship Earth. I rode with Ryleigh and we accidently selected German instead of English, so we didn't know what was being said the entire ride! The girls really liked this ride.   When we got off we ran into Goofy!  Then we opted for a few pictures in front of the "ball" as BK calls it.       After our photo shoot we went to see Turtle Talk with Crush. The girls also enjoyed this little show, and I liked it too I'm not going to lie. We then had fast passes to ride Soaring. I was skeptical about BK riding it, but she was a big girl and didn't cry at all.   We decided to walk around the world and tr

Weekending [No.2]

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent the majority of the weekend outside, and as a result I now have a cold. (boo)   Friday night we went out to eat with my mom at a local Mexican restaurant.   Saturday morning I got the girls ready and left, in the rain, to go to Ryleigh's rodeo. It was such a nasty day out, but we made the most of it. Ryleigh had a decent time on goats, and had a better time on barrels than normal.   When we got back from the rodeo we all got ready to go eat for Carlie's birthday. We went across the river to Vidalia, LA and grabbed a few daiquiris while we waited for everyone to arrive. We ended up not leaving the restaurant until 11:00 that night. I was very frustrated, to say the least. We did enjoy hanging out with our friends though.   Sunday morning we were back up bright and early headed to Ryleigh's 2nd rodeo of the weekend. It was so cold yesterday, and carried over to today. I only snap

Let's Look At... the coziest spot in my house

  Happy Wednesday! I am linking up with Erika & Shay for my very first Let's Look At link up. Today I am sharing the coziest spot in my house... my bedroom... Excuse the bad photo quality, I snapped this picture on the way out this morning. My absolute favorite thing to do is crawl in my bed, turn off all the lights, and watch a movie. I also like drinking a big cup of coffee and reading a good book or my daily devotional in my bed.   Nothing fancy but it's my go to cozy spot in my house. I hope everyone has a great day!

Disney World {Day 4}

Happy Tuesday! I am way behind on recapping our Disney trip, but better late than ever right?? Today I am sharing all of the fun we had on day 4 of Disney, and it was Halloween! We woke up bright and early to go to Animal Kingdom!! The first stop of the day was Tusker House for breakfast. We absolutely LOVED TH and will definitely go back again. The staff were so nice, the restaurant made us feel like we were in Africa, and the food was really yummy. While we were enjoying breakfast we bumped into a few of our favorite characters!   After breakfast we had fast passed for Kilimanjaro Safaris so we loaded up and headed on our tour. We enjoyed seeing the safari animals in their "natural habitat"         After the safari tour we rode Kali River Rapids because there was no wait! No one told us how soaked we would get on this ride... let's just say I stayed wet the rest of the day, but we loved that ride!   We grab
