linking up with Erika & Shay for let's look at your favorite #ootd!
I am not a trend setter, I try to follow the trends the best I can but on a budget haha! Here are a few of my favorite ootd and some things I have on repeat.
Linking up with Danielle , Emily , Lizzie , Sierra , and Lindsay to share a few of my guilty pleasures! 1. Shopping Online Ok I'll admit I am a little late jumping on the online shopping bandwagon. I used to only shop in stores so I could try the clothes on before I bought them. I just recently decided to start ordering online, and I feel like I've been missing out on life ha! I ordered this "express yourself" dress from The Mint Julep boutique for my upcoming beach trip, and I received $10 off my order just for signing up for e-mails :) I've been eyeing these wedges on varies boutique pages and I lucked up and found this pair at Target. I was able to get these and a pair of sandals for BK(below) and a free $10 gift card! 2. Sweets Let's face it, I am a sucker for anything sweet! I could live on chocolate alone, but you know how that would end up. Since starting Weight Watchers I have had to find different ways to curb my sweet t...
Happy Wednesday! I am sharing our overnight trip to New Orleans for our 1 year anniversary. Heads up that almost all of my pictures are of the food we ate haha! Saturday morning we were up early and headed out towards New Orleans. We stopped in Hammond for lunch. We ate at a new to us restaurant called Our Mom's Restaurant . We ordered an appetizer of fried green beans. They were good but kind of spicy. We split the surf n turf burger and it was super yummy! We walked down the street to Sweet Rolls for dessert. I have been dying to try the rolled ice cream and it didn't disappoint! We split the cookie monster. We walked around downtown Hammond for a little while, checking out some of the shops. Hammond is such a cute town, I just love it! Our next stop was Slidell for the Honey Island Swamp Tour. I took the tour a few years ago, but this was Walt's first time and he loved it! I enjoyed it as well, but it was SO hot on t...
Linking up with Shay & Erika! If I were to be stranded on a deserted island what 3 movies would I take with me? Good question considering I love to watch movies, but I can't just watch any movie that comes on. I like to re-watch movies I've seen over and over, unless it grabs my attention. Varsity Blues.. enough said. I absolutely love everything about this movie because it brings me back to my high school days. Small town Friday night football games. Practical Magic. I'm not going to lie, when I was little I wanted to be a witch (a good one)every time I watched this movie. It was magical, surreal, and I wanted to live that life. I can't help but sing and dance around my house during the margarita scene. The Best of Me. My favorite Nicolas Sparks book and movie. I just wish the ending would have been different :(
