Weekending Mother's Day
Happy Monday! I hope all of the moms had a great mother's day. We spent the weekend celebrating Mother's day for myself and my mom.
Saturday I was treated to lunch at Wendy's (girls favorite) by Walt, my girls, and my soon to be step daughter AB. After lunch we had a little pool play day. This was the first real play date my girls and AB have had so we enjoyed that day so much!

We played outside for a while then came in to cool off and watch some cartoons.
Walt took the sweetest picture of BK and AB holding hands as we were leaving Saturday afternoon. Fun fact: these two are only one month apart in age. So we now have two 3 year olds lol!
My aunt and cousins came up from Louisiana for the weekend, so I took the girls over to my grandmother's to see them. We finally met my cousin's baby, Bryce, for the first time and the girls were excited about that.
Bryce is such a chunk! He is only nine months old, but he is almost as big as Brynlee. He took an immediate liking to Ryleigh, which made her happy. All babies seem to love Ryleigh the most!
Saturday night we met up with my brothers, their wives and kids, my cousin, and my mom for a mothers day/big brother's birthday supper. Today is my brother's 32nd birthday, so we decided to celebrate both.
Sunday morning we went to church, followed by lunch at my grand mother's house.

After lunch we went to visit with Walt's mom for mother's day, then spent the rest of the day at the creek since it was so hot! The weather literally went straight from winter to summer, and completely skipped spring haha! The girls had a lot of fun swimming in the creek and my nephews and niece even came too.
We ended the weekend eating supper at Mexican, baths, and bed. We were all exhausted from the weekend, but it was a great one!!
This week we are going to try to finish moving our stuff into Walt's house, which I am so ready for! Have a great week.
