This weather is killin me! Just when I thought I was feeling better, wham, I'm sick again. I woke up this morning with a sore throat, coughing, swollen lymph nodes. Hopefully I can shake this mess. I am linking up with Biana to share my weekend. Friday night two of my friends and I had plans to see Fifty Shades Darker. We met up, bought our tickets just in case it sold out, and went to eat real quick. Real quick turned into a 30 minute wait for a table, which made us extremely late to our movie. Boo!! We decided we would just enjoy our meal and get refunds for the movie. We enjoyed a few margaritas and some yummy shrimp n grits.   Saturday I went over to Carlie's house for blueberry pancakes and coffee. We decided to run to Jackson for a little shopping. linking up w/ Erika, Narci, & Andrea    I am so glad it is finally Friday! I definitely need a little R&R! I am going to see Fifty Shades Darker tonight with two of my girlfriends! I cannot wait to watch it!!! I was sick on Valentine's day so I got to stay home with BK and snuggle on the couch all day. We may or may not have watched Trolls 5 times in a row. BK loves that movie so much! When Ryleigh came home from school we exchanged gifts. The girls each got a balloon, box of m&ms, barbie, trolls mirror and lip gloss, and bandaids. The girls got me a box of turtles chocolate (my fav), a balloon, and a candle! I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!    

Here's to a great Monday, after an awesome weekend! Friday I hosted a gender reveal for my brother and sister n law. They are welcoming their 3rd child at the end of July. I had to snap a picture of this cutie as we headed over to the party. As you can see BK is wearing her guess, a girl that they are naming Brutus (or at least BK will call the baby that) Justin and the boys shot the balloons which were filled with paint. It's a..... GIRL!!!! I cannot wait to meet Miss Sutton Reece Saturday afternoon Ryleigh had a rodeo in Louisiana, so we packed up and headed south. She did awesome this go around. She won 1st in goat tail pulling and poles. After the rodeo we went to Manchac, La to eat at Middendorfs. I asked Ryleigh where she wanted to go for Valentine's day and she chose to go there! I have had the envelope with the gender in my purse since Tuesday and I haven't looked yet! I can't bring myself to look until right before the party because I know I will tell everyone! I just had to share a little funny with ya'll since I am single!   I am not a big fan of V-day but my girls love to celebrate. Ryleigh has been asking me for several weeks what kind of present I want. She is always thinking about me. I told Ryleigh that I would let her pick wherever she wants to go eat Tuesday night and I would take her and BK out. I am also going to get them a little box of candy, balloons, a stuffed animals, and a Barbie. I know that I shouldn't go overboard with gifts, but I don't have anyone else to buy for and seeing the girls faces light up with excitement makes me sooo happy! I can't wait to share our actual date next week!        

Oh my gosh at what a great weekend I had!! I took a weekend road trip to with my sil to Memphis, TN for the Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood world tour! Ya'll if you haven't seen Garth in concert, you NEED to! He puts on the best concert, and I now see why he won Entertainer of the Year!   We headed out around 6 am Saturday morning so we would have time to stop for breakfast, and we had a 4 hour drive. We bought tickets for the 3:00 concert so we would have time to eat afterwards, that will make you laugh in a little while. We stopped for breakfast at Another Broken Egg Café. I ordered the Floridian omelet with potatoes.   We made it to our hotel around 11:30 and they let us check in, thank goodness! We got ready so we could grab lunch before the concert. By the time we made it to Beale Street there was no where to eat! Keep in mind that was my first time to Memphis, so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as wait times for restaurants.
