Happy Wednesday! I am sharing our overnight trip to New Orleans for our 1 year anniversary. Heads up that almost all of my pictures are of the food we ate haha!   Saturday morning we were up early and headed out towards New Orleans. We stopped in Hammond for lunch. We ate at a new to us restaurant called Our Mom's Restaurant . We ordered an appetizer of fried green beans. They were good but kind of spicy. We split the surf n turf burger and it was super yummy!   We walked down the street to Sweet Rolls for dessert. I have been dying to try the rolled ice cream and it didn't disappoint! We split the cookie monster.   We walked around downtown Hammond for a little while, checking out some of the shops. I cannot believe I have been on an almost 3 month hiatus from blogging! We have had lots of things happen in the last few months, and honestly I just haven't felt like blogging. That is about to change, and lots of exciting things will be coming to the blog soon! First off I have to finish recapping our Disney trip!! I know Disney is a magical place, but it is also very tiring ha!   We woke up early for breakfast then caught a bus back to magic kingdom. Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing all about our day at Epcot. This was the only day that the weather was kind of gloomy and dark, but we didn't let that stop us. Walt's mama bought the girls princess dresses for our trip, so they decided to wear them that day.   The first thing we did when we arrived at Epcot was hop on Spaceship Earth. I rode with Ryleigh and we accidently selected German instead of English, so we didn't know what was being said the entire ride! The girls really liked this ride.   When we got off we ran into Goofy!  Then we opted for a few pictures in front of the "ball" as BK calls it.       After our photo shoot we went to see Turtle Talk with Crush. Happy Tuesday! I am way behind on recapping our Disney trip, but better late than ever right?? Today I am sharing all of the fun we had on day 4 of Disney, and it was Halloween! We woke up bright and early to go to Animal Kingdom!! The first stop of the day was Tusker House for breakfast. We absolutely LOVED TH and will definitely go back again. The staff were so nice, the restaurant made us feel like we were in Africa, and the food was really yummy. While we were enjoying breakfast we bumped into a few of our favorite characters!   After breakfast we had fast passed for Kilimanjaro Safaris so we loaded up and headed on our tour. We enjoyed seeing the safari animals in their "natural habitat"         After the safari tour we rode Kali River Rapids because there was no wait! No one told us how soaked we would get on this ride... let's just say I stayed wet the rest of the day, but we loved that ride! ...
