Recipe Wednesday No.1
Hey ya'll!
I'm sharing a recipe I came across on facebook. I made this last night, and even though my children wouldn't eat it, Walt and I really enjoyed it!
Ingredients
- 3 cups of cooked rice (white or brown)
- 6-8 chicken thighs
- 2 10.75oz cans cream of cheddar soup
- 1 10.75oz can cream of herbed chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1-4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly grease a 9X13 inch baking dish.
- Combine cream of cheddar, cream of chicken, and milk in a bowl and whisk until combined. Then whisk in garlic, op, paprika, red pepper flakes, and cheddar cheese.
- Spread rice out on the bottom of the cooking dish, then top with chicken thighs. Season your chicken with salt and pepper.
- Pour soup mixture over chicken and rice. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and enjoy!
