Southern Mama of Two

This past weekend was one for the books! Friday morning I woke up and it was snowing!! That is a rare site to see in Mississippi in early December. My work closed and the school was closed so the girls and I had a snow day. If your from the south you know how often it snows, which isn't much and it is usually ice/sleet not snow. I think a total of 6 inches fell at my house. The girls loved playing in the snow and making a snowman.   Friday night we loaded up and went to Natchez to celebrate my mom and Walt's birthday. It was sooo cold that night!   Saturday morning I loaded up the girls and my mom to go to Ryleigh's awards banquet for a rodeo system she competed in earlier in the year. Ryleigh worked so hard this past year and walked away with several awards. She won 2nd place in sheep riding, stick horse barrels, goat tail pulling, and goat flipping. She won 3rd place in barrels and poles. She won 1st place in dummy roping and she won 6-up All Ar...

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed spending the weekend with my girls and the beautiful weather we had. I am linking up with Sarah  to share my Christmas wish list. I don't usually ask or want for much during the holiday season since I buy things for myself. However, I do have my eyes on a few things I wouldn't mind opening on Christmas morning. UGG Dakota Slippers I have two pair of Sperry slippers that are similar to these and they have lasted several years. I would love to add these to my closet! Naked2 Palette I don't usually buy name brand makeup, but I would love this palette!!     Hobo Clutch I have had the same Hobo clutch that I use as my everyday wallet for about 8 years and it looks almost brand new. It is time for a color change and hopefully this will be a present this year.                            

  Hello December! We have entered my favorite time of the year, I just wish the weather matched the season. It has been in the 70s this past week and all I want is cold weather!! I am sharing random photos from November. My cousin Harley got married at the beginning of November and we helped celebrate! my wedding date❣ he is so goofy!   Loving on sweet Sutton at Case's birthday party.   I recently celebrated my 29th birthday 😓 with a trip to Starkville to see up and coming band Muscadine Bloodline. Walt took me to eat at the Veranda for supper then we went to the concert, which was alot of fun. Saturday morning we got up and ate breakfast at Starkville Café before coming home. Spent my birthday night with these two plus their big brother. Friday night Walt and I took the girls to eat pizza, then we carved pumpkins.   Saturday my mom and I took the girls plus their cousin Emily to eat and to the pumpkin patch. We went to a different one this year because it was closer, and super cold that day. I was a little disappointed in it, but the girls had fun which is all that matters. They enjoyed zip lining, going through the corn maze, and feeding the catfish.   Sunday the girls and I went to church. After church we went to eat lunch at Mexican. Sunday afternoon we went to my grandmother's church for trunk or treat, then to our church for trunk or treat.
